On behalf of Be Ready Alliance Coordinating for Emergencies (BRACE) we would like to extend an invitation for you to participate in one of the up-coming Northern Gulf Coast – Community Partner Initiative – Stakeholder Meetings relating to preparing Florida’s northern gulf coast counties for future emergencies and disasters. This important series of meetings will serve as an opportunity to bring a diverse group of local, regional and state community and faith based organizations, private sector businesses and government agencies together regarding preparing Florida’s northern gulf coast counties for future emergencies and disasters.

 

The meetings will also set the stage for participating in the 2012 Statewide Hurricane Exercise as well as one of the Hurricane Biz Workplace Tabletop Exercises.

Franklin's Promise Coalition is a partnership of people, agencies and organizations who want to make Franklin County a better place to live for all its citizens.The mission of the Coalition is to improve the quality of life for Franklin County residents. To fulfill this mission, the Coalition will serve as an advocate for the community and provide the opportunity of a forum, for networking with service providers, churches, other institutions, and interested citizen volunteers of Franklin County, Florida for:

(a) Improving access to quality services and assisting in eliminating disparities of service.

(b) Streamlining, and preventing duplication and fragmentation of services.

(c) Identifying unmet needs and determining strategies and programs to meet those needs.

(d) Informing and educating individuals on challenges, resources and opportunities in the community.

(e) Promoting positive youth development while emphasizing the reduction of substance abuse and other negative behaviors among the youth of Franklin County.

(f) Serve Franklin County as the lead agency for Emergency Support Function 15, coordinate the county’s Un-met Needs Committee/Agency Resource Survey, and serve as the county’s Long Term Recovery Coalition.

Franklin’s Promise Coalition (FPC) was incorporated in December of 2002 as a Florida Not-For-Profit Corporation and is designated as a 501 (C) (3) corporation under the Internal Revenue Code. Membership is open to all citizens and agencies and organizations that operate in Franklin County. Everyone is invited to attend.
